I wanted to download it again, but windows version doesnt look like windows at all...

(+1)

It seems it's the Mac version, I messed up hahaha
I'm going to upload the real windows version now

hey I have another question. Do you think anyone will offer to voice over the characters in this game?

(1 edit)

A House for Alesa 2? I wouldn't be interested in adding voices because it would take too much time and I can't afford voice acting hahaha (also, the game's finished and I don't want to work on it anymore)
But I might consider voice acting for A House for Alesa 3, although it would have to be free (it would be a free game after all).
However, I think maybe voice acting isn't suited for the Alesa series

the game was wonderful with great story i really like it.

i just wanna know if there secret item that make the player searching.i thought that the cake or stears was one but i searched like 2h but there was nothing i can use it for.

BTW ur games has good idea i liked it.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
There are no secret items, the cake is a joke item and the stairs are there because it's the insanity hall. There are some secret scenes only a few people have discovered though, and they are at the beginning of the game, when Alesa is in her appartment (and one in the alley outside the apartment's entrance, near the cars)

Very nice game!

Walkthrough All Endings:

Thank you so much! : D That was a great gameplay!

I loved this game so much as well as the first one!!! I honestly hope you continue this series. I will definitely be playing it.

By the way, I was so expecting Greta to turn out evil somehow (she was in the first game, but that's not my reason). Whenever Mr. Bob said that Greta was the one who killed Alesa's friend, and she was like "you were the one controlling her," I expected a twist, or even to find a hidden document talking about how she was evil. Unless I missed something. But either way, I loved the ending(s). <3

Also!! I do wonder, how do you pronounce Alesa? ah-less-ah or ah-lee-sah? Or something else??

(+1)

Thank you so much! : D
I will definitely continue the series, as working with these characters is really fun and there are still some loose ends and characters that need more sreentime.

I thought about making an ending where Greta turned out to be 100% evil, but ultimately I decided against it since it would have been pretty much ending D from A House for Alesa 1 all over again. And I really wanted Greta to have some redemption and happiness.

Alesa's name was picked totally at random and it probably has many pronunciations, but I personally pronounce it "ah-leh-sah", although if people want to pronounce it "ah-lee-sah", that's totally fine

Gamepad support?

I'm not really sure about that. Rpg Maker MZ might requiere a plugin in order to support a gamepad. I'll have to investigate

me encanto este juego dioooosss, tanto el 1 como el 2 y me encanta el humor acido que tuvo el 2, sobretodo por el chip de greta y alesa, se neseitaba jsjsjs espero ver juegos tuyos de este estilo nuevamente, xoxo

Muchas gracias! : D Pronto habrá nuevos juegos!

(+2)

We're in love with the first part but this graphic improved was amazing. Completely awsome again, you naild it! You can check the gameplay edit of the second part too, we'll  be playing with Alesa for as long as you let us. Hope you like it!

Wooow thank you so much!:D I've finished watching both your gameplays and they were amazing! You're a great duo! It's really fun to watch you!
A House for Alesa 3 is currently in the works hahaha

Thank you so much for watching it! ♥

That's great, we'll be wating a House for Alesa 3 :D Keep us posted!

Nevermind i dont think it works on my phone i cant stop running even if i turn it on or off can you tell me what it is on that may work if so thank you and ill be here for a wile and i follow you now and i will forever lol

I don't really know about how Rpg Maker games work on phones, since I make these games with computers in mind, so I'm afraid I can't help with that running problem. But I'll take this into consideration for my future games

ok that's fine and thank you

(+1)

I hope you have a good day if you see this and i wish the best for you and if your make a 3rd game ill be here lol and i wish there was a good ending for the twins.

BTW I love your other games

Thank you! : D Perhaps if I make a 3rd game, they could have a good ending where it's revealed that they never harmed animals (it was a lie made up by their parents) and they weren't evil

Oh god I hate there parents from the start when I read the document thay are awful but I loved the twins so much I kinda broke the game on my own lol I don't know why or how lol

(+1)

I would honestly prefer the twins to remain evil personally. I liked that detail. <3 But you do what you want!

(+1)

I loved this game. I liked how there was an ending for Alesa and Greata to be together. Are you planning on making a third game?

Thank you so much! I actually made this sequel so that Greta and Alesa could be together.

I do plan on making a third game, since there are still some loose ends and characters that need more screentime, but I'm not sure when. Probably by the end of August.I'm also working on some spin-offs within the same universe

is there a downloadable version for chromebookOS

I'm afraid not.Actually, I don't even know what chromebookOS is hahaha. But if RMMZ ever allows for that, I'll make sure to include a version compatible with chromebookOS

dope appreciate it thought it was a great game, saw Jay from Kubzcouts play it on Yt and liked the story development behind the characters and endings i wish you prayer and luck for your game development futre

(+1)

FULL STORY!!!

HERE IS A House For Alesa 1 and 2! ALL ENDINGS! ALL CUTSCENES! ALL DEATH ANIMATIONS! Full Story (Game Movie)

<333333

My God! That's amazing! It's like the ultimate Alesa guide! You've done an incredible work! I'm out of words! : D

(+1)

Hi am a huge fan of your games my favourite are the alisa games but am wondering if you ever make a 3 game wold there be a chance for the twins getting a good or more ending? There my favorit littl psychos and i think thay need way more love but even if you deside not to ill still love eny games you make!

(+1)

Thank you so much laravr!: D
You're honestly the first person that seems to like the twins hahahha, most people hate them.
According to the document, they harmed animals so they wouldn't deserve a happy ending. However, there's a chance that those documents are not entirely true (also, that was a statement by their parents. Maybe the parents were lying and the twins never hurt animals).
If I make a third game, they definitely need to come back (maybe not as an enemy but as a npc important to the story)

Thank you so much for your support!

(1 edit) (+2)

Episode 2 is out tomorrow. I had so much fun playing as always. I don't know how you come up with all this crazy stuff I love it. I have no other choice but to follow you, this is all just so amazing. You make my day :). I should stop reading the comments, but if you ever make A House for Alesa 3 I'm here for it! Thank you so much for creating this <3 (after i'm done with this game ill record the rest of your games)

You have no idea how happy it makes me to read messages like yours! I've gotten a lot of hate lately, but it doesn't matter as long as there are people who have fun and enjoy my games! And if people want a third game, I guess I'll end up making it hahaha. Thank you so much for your support! I watched your new video, it was amazing! : D

Thank you so much for watching! I don't understand why would you get any hate you worked so hard and game is amazing from story to animations to soundtrack... If you need any help with making games I'm here:) good job!

(+1)

It seems some people were offended by the fart jokes and the toilet system hahaha. I honestly just put those in there for laughs (the toilet is not even mandatory, it's completely optional). And some of these people think they know everything about me just from watching parts of the game (so many Freuds out there! Truly amazing! They even mentioned I should be in an asylum or something like that). I just wanted to make people laugh, but oh well. I don't make games for these people (the ones who got offended). I make games for people who enjoy bizarre/creepy/surreal/crazy pixelated games with very strange humor and situations that don't make sense at all

(+2)

Great game like always! I love the desing and the new stuff, btw what is the canon ending?

(1 edit) (+1)

Thank yo so much! : )
Technically, all the endings could be considered canon (parallel dimensions). However, if I were to make "A House for Alesa 3", it would probably follow the events of ending 7/9 with Alesa having lost her hearing (Alesa and Greta live together as a couple and Mr. Bob will sleep for 99 years)
The reason I'd choose that endings is because it allows me to put Mr. Bob to rest without killing him, and Greta and Alesa can finally be happy together. And who knows, maybe Alesa could recover her hearing in the future after a revolutionary surgery.

(+2)

underrated game developer warning, House for alesa 1 and house for alesa 2 , Had such bone chilling soundtracks, i geniunely love ur games! keep it up ♥

Wooow thank you so much!! : D I really appreciate it!
I'm working on a new game right now! It won't have jokes though, this time it wil be 100% horror!

(+2)

I love this one as much as the last one!! =D i liked how some of the endings had really funny/weird images and especially the mannequin part the warning made me laugh. ^^ you’re a really good game designer =DD!

Thank you so much for your words Maz, it means a lot! : D My main goal was to make people laugh and feel horrified at the same time hahahaha. I've gained a lot of hate, but also many people seem to have enjoyed the game and enjoy the characters and their stories, so that's what matters to me!

Ofc!! I think you should keep doing what you love, and don’t listen to all the hate you get, you’re an amazing game creator/designer and i really do mean it! keep up the good work >:D!!

(+3)

I started a series of this game on my channel, it was super fun playing. I was so suprised about the scene when you come in front of policeman n@ked. This game is so fun you did a great job! Thank you for letting us play for free. <3
(+2)

Thank you so much for your words! : D That was a really great and fun video! Very few people discovered that interaction with the officer hahaha!
My games will always be free! As long as people laugh or have fun with my games (or get scared hahaha) I'll be happy!

(1 edit)

omg i never discovered that scene with policeman and ashamed of that😅. That is such a genius way to answer to all those accusations<3 You're an evil saint>:3C

Hahahaha only a few people have discovered it!

(1 edit) (+2)

An unexpected surprise!

I really liked the second game, the improvements in certain models were really cool,  the wife's new macabre design was very good!

oh, and the game is also much funnier

(+1)

Thank you so much! : D Awesome playthrough!

(+2)

This game is absolutely amazing and deserves all the hype in the world! it was scary, funny and it was an Rpg horror that had good puzzles that where challenging but did not make me want to die. The improvements from the first game are very noticeable and if you love spooks and got a night alone you need to play it!

Woow thank you so much for! I really appreciate it! : )

(+1)

alesa x greta? The way alesa runs is so funny

Alesa x Greta is canon!

(+2)

<333

Thank you for playing, that was a great playthrough! : D

(+2)

I made a chat bot for Mr. Bob in Chai and ch. ai xD

Hahahaha

(+1)

hey I have a question; if the holy candle weakens Mr. Bob then why does he take it from Alesa halfway through the game?

It's not just the candle: it also requieres the user's will. Alesa didn't see Mr. Rob as a threat, so holy candle didn't affect "Mr. Rob" as Alesa didn't intend to hurt him. The whole "Mr. Rob" act was carried out in order to trick Alesa, get close to her and steal her candle.

Jit trippin... we going into our delulu era

(1 edit) (-3)

*edit: nope, it isnt. sorry. my mind was translanting to my languange n, in mine, it is.

hey, there! "dark humor" is a racist term. so, please, just nope. im sure, if u spend some time, ure going to find a word to replace that

was it said in the game?

(-2)

just in the start.  when that purple one say some warnings before getting run overed by  mr. bob

(+1)

Nuh uh

what. your logic not making any sense. dark humour isn't a racist term.

sooooory, i was wrong. now i realized my mind was translating to my lang and, in mine, it is.

game is super fun but to me it felt a little easier maybe add a hard mode if you make a part 3

So, something like how difficulty worked in TSITAM? (There's Something in the Abergast Mines)

(+1)

yeah i guss.. i havent played that game though .

That would be a good a idea. Difficulty is one of the hardest thing to make when developing a game, as you either end up making a game impossible to beat or a game too easy that doesn't give a sense of accomplishment to the player

Deleted 1 year ago

I just updated the game. That chase section can be skipped now

(+3)

Mr. Bob was right, the house was designed to torture me. I've been trying to navigate through the maze for like 30 minutes or more and keep dying because I keep going to the wrong directions even tho there's a pile of skeleton bones guiding me.

But hey, I finally managed to beat the game. Its was so fun totally did not rage and broke my keyboard while playing it (:

By the way, I can't help but mention how incredible Alesa's cake was. It's a true masterpiece of artistry. I even had the thought of printing a picture of it and framing it as a funny souvenir.

(1 edit)

hahahahahaha

I hope the experience wasn't too frustrating! At least you got to appreciate Alesa's painting!

(+2)(-1)

welcome back in hell..think next house alesa 3d ahahaah

Hahahaha that would be a great idea! Nice video!

but no easy ..make 3d game ... you create big asset new for creature ;D ,,think unity is funny

(how to get 8th ending?)

Hahaha I'm glad you liked it! To get ending 8, just talk to the twins and answer "yes" when asked to become their pet

oh I already did that, but forgot:)
but what about the cake - is there some secret to it?

It's just a joke item hahahaha

and the stairs in the middle of the room too? I thought they actually lead somewhere...

(1 edit) (+1)

Nah, they are just decoration to show that, indeed, that is the insanity hall for a reason hahaha. Actually, Alesa was supposed to say something related to the stairs but it seems I forgot to activate it. She just said somethin like "why are there stairs in the middle of the room? They don't lead anywhere though..."

(+1)(-1)

What a fun game! Still scary with some more humor, I can't wait to get the other endings!

oh, and I definitely messed up my file by triggering the mother chase too early so I'm excited to get back in and start a new game where I can make progress again! Lol

Wait! You don't need to start a new file!

I thought it wasn't possible to escape from her after you save in the 3rd floor. But you managed to do it! So your file is safe

OH AMAZING! I'm like a ninja 😎

When I saw you do it, I couldn't believe it hahaha. You managed to do what was supposed to be impossible! Great skills!

Thank you so much! : D I'm sorry about the frustrating deaths hahahah

Lmao they were well worth it!

(+1)(-1)

Very good game

(+1)

Thank you so much Blaze! That was a great playthrough!

No problem

(+1)

the best game series in the world and I mean it

(+1)

Woow thank you so much for your words! Fun video, it seems Mr. Bob and the mother managed to scare you, haha!

(+2)

yeah they did lol keep up the great stuff

(1 edit) (+2)

I played it ASAP and I was surprised in multiple ways with this game, as a standalone experience as well as a sequel to the original.

The game has many MANY twists and turns and it's fun to be unraveling the story with the new pieces of lore about the family and interactions with the characters, is definitely an enchantment from the first one.

The game has a more comedic tone, no doubt about it, and although I enjoyed 99% (Not a fan of fart jokes sorry) of the jokes and that amazing introduction scene, I feel my expectations got crushed since I was expecting pure horror just as the first game, this is of course a personal preference and it doesn't make or break the game in any significant way. Actually it may help people that have trouble with horror to deal with the game better. But it indeed affected my first impressions.

I was a little worried by how fast the sequel was developed but everything looks and sounds even better, I have no idea how you do it! Alesa is lovely as ever and the new monsters are all really quirky and fun to interact with. and some new enemy designs as well as endings are REALLY GOOD.

Not gonna spoil anything about the endings but I love that we get a lot more endings and outcomes, albeit a little simpler than the original game endings but I rather have the freedom to decide my own unique outcome like in this one. The romance is also fun.

Great way of implementing the trigger warnings, and I don't know if I missed something but I didn't see anything resembling Thalassophobia?

I also liked how the game embraced Alesa's cake but sometimes it feels a little bit too focused into that, and even tough it makes for some amazing jokes (I lost it at the Mannequin ass cheeks clap) it took me out of the horror.

It indeed remind me of some horror movies sense of humor, the inspirations are clear and very well implemented, specially I feel the cosmic horror addition was a great thing, it makes the whole Mr.bob thing a lot more complicated and hard to understand (This is a good thing).

So, even if I did not enjoy the comedy 100% I am still OK with it and respect your creative decision to include it, I am not asking for anything to change (except maybe the mirror sound effect that almost sacrificed my sense of hearing haha).

I hope I can be here to keep enjoying your future games sorry about the long review.

Good luck and Keep up the good work!

PS:WORSHIP THE CAKE!

(+2)

Hikiyami! Thank you so much! I watched the whole video (almost 3 hours hahaha) and I really appreciate all the feedback.
There are definitely many aspects that could have been better and I understand the tone shift from pure horror to dark comedy horror might not be everyone's cup of tea (and the fart jokes are too much), but as you mentioned, there's the risk of making the exact same game again (and then you get accused of making the same game) and sometimes it's hard live up to the previous version. I took a gamble and I guess people will be divided regarding the jokes and the tone shift. I'll definitely go back to pure horror for my next project.
Nevertheless, your feedback is really valuable and I will certainly keep it in mind for future projects! And I will certainly never use that mirror sound effect again hahahaha

Here are some clarifications:

-the paintings are not references to anyone, I was just messing around with paint and came up with whatever crossed my mind, but I guess they could be family members who lived in another house
-the hat not disappearing is actually a bug, but it could also be that the puppet forgot to take it
-the lamp in the basement is a reference to the lamp ending from the first game
-the ghostly clock was needed so that the worshipper tells you the time (12:30), so then you tell that number to cousin Marietta. But you solved the puzzle earlier than expected hahaha
-Greta is not a floating head hahaha, she's just wearing a pitch black dress. At times, you can see her arms and hands
-Thalassophobia was supposed to be represented in the mermaid's cave, but I guess it didn't work as intended
-the mini bobs and rotten Alesas are not real enemies, they said random things. The rotten Alesa creature is supposed to represent what Alesa will become if she marries Mr. Bob

I'm probably forgetting something but anyway

Thanks again for the playthrough and your feedback! I really enjoyed the video!

(+2)

ALL HAIL ALESA'S MASSIVE CAKE

(+2)

I BELIEVE IN ALESA'S CAKE SUPREMACY!

(+2)

Alright, I finished the game and got all the endings! Overall, I can see substantial improvement and it's a great game! I'm not sure how well the more comedic direction will be received by others, but I didn't mind it.

Mr. Bob himself was a bit disappointing though. He used to be scarier in the first game I think.

Still, great job on the game!

(+2)

Thank you so much Beregon!

-----------------------------Already corrected, ignore this--------------

CLARIFICATION: there are 9 endings, not 10. The "ending 1/10" message is a mistake (it's supposed to say 1/9)

Originally, there were supposed to be 10 endings, but one of them was too disturbing and had to be discarded

(+2)

Fixed version is up now and the mother is working as intended

(3 edits) (+2)

-----------THIS ONLY APPLIES TO VERSION 1.0. IGNORE THIS IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE CURRENT VERSION-----------

ATTENTION (AND SPOILERS):

in the 2nd floor (Mr. Bob's house), in the hallway that leads to the 3rd floor, you're not supposed to outrun the mother before getting the blade of Zagaracathal, it's supposed to be a scripted event where you face her. If you did and then you saved on the 3rd floor, then that file is ruined. I'm uploading a fixed version so that you can't outrun the mother.

tl;dr: if you outrun the mother in the 2nd floor (Mr. Bob's house, near the end of the game) before getting the blade of Zagaracathal, DO NOT SAVE or you'll be screwed. I'll upload the fixed version right now (if you saved, discard that file)

Unless you managed to escape from her again (it is possible, StellaSimsy did it)
