dad like: ur birthday present is… suffering

hey avdossow why you program Billy to level 99

To make things easier! Some players don't want to grind monsters for hours and just want to see the story, so that's why you can easily level up just by talking to a certain NPC

You've once again proven that you draw women a little too well 😳

it's baaaaaack!!!!

(+2)

wow that's a lot of playtime!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liked the game!

cool game, very entertaining, and if you're looking for a game with a good amount of play time ( for free might I add ) this totally worth it ! My save was 2h54 and I played across several days, didn't get bored at all even tho some names mechanics like the enemies in the elevator cut scene were frustrating af

the design for enemies were sick af in the best way possible! loved the design for the twins and other mini-bosses + Venetia was a really cool antagonist

honestly had a blast playing this can't wait to see what the dev does next ! but please please no more fart jokes lmaooooo

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! : D I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I really appreciate it!

I promise there won't be more fart jokes hahaha, even I was disgusted by them and regretted including them

(+1)

sdjnjnasdajn  the bad ending lmaoooo

Is it bad that i like the grotesque twins or what there so cool lol i love there laugh the only thing i dont like is the fart jokes in it but thats ok ill live! But this is a good game non the less i am giving this game a 10/10 its fun!

Thank you Alexis! I'm glad you liked the game! The grotesque twins are supposed to be scary and disgusting and you might be the first and only person to like them.
I reckon the fart jokes were too much and now I feel repulsed by them hahaha, I'll definitely avoid that kind of jokes in my future game

Fito & Hugo, my beloveds <3

(+1)

hi, would it be possible to turn full screen on for the browser version?

Hello
There should be a "full screen" button now (bottom right corner of the screen)

thank you!!!

(+2)

did anyone else have an issue with Fito not leaving their party??

(+1)

Yes! I rejected him earlier and later on I chose the mime to join the party but Fito joined instead of her, I refreshed the save file 2 times but it kept happening. It's honestly a shame cuz I genuinely wanted the mime and not Fito :(

(1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for letting me know about this bug. I think you're the first players to ever accept both Fito and Clotilde in their party, so I guess no one encountered this problem before

I appear to be having this problem now with the web version, I guess it hasn't been fixed?

SAME!! the mime looked so cool :( FITO ALSO WOULDNT LET ME CONTROL HIS ATTACKS AFTER (it was hilarious)

Yes, using the web version here on itch, and cannot get rid of him, and also could not add the mime afterwards, as well as not able to control Fito in the battles, it just skips him.

same. hail fito i suppose.

The bug that prevented players from getting rid of Fito was fixed in the latest update, so it shouldn't be an issue anymore.

Fito cannot be controled, that's intentional, it's actually mentioned in one of his skills from the menu

Haven't finished it yet, about half way through I think? But I absolutely adore this game!! I enjoy the grinding because the little jokes keep me interested and its funny! Absolutely a 10/10 in my books!

Thank you so much! : D

Good game

Okay, so I encountered Efesia the fortune teller for the first time. In my party, I have the trapeze artist (Amiga), the balloon girl (Ballonetta), and the juggler (Huggies). Is it worth it to kick one of my party members out? I don't want to sacrifice Amiga or Ballonetta (the former is my best attacker besides Billy/Billiam, the latter because she's my only healer), so Huggies is all that is left.

As you can see, I had a lot of fun naming the characters.

(+2)

Efesia can cast spirits that protect the group from physical and magical attacks, can poison enemies and has access to almost all elements (except for fire). Most of her skills deal damage to all enemies. However, she's not pretty powerful compared to other characters and her ultimate attack isn't that useful during the endgame.
Hugo (Huggies) is kinda meh with mediocre attack, defenses and skills, but his final skill is extremely powerful.
I guess both can be somewhat useful, but they might be considered weak compared to Billy, Amicia or the other 3 remaining characters that can join the party.
Lucy (Ballonetta) is indeed the best healer but her attacks are limited to wind attacks with average damage.
Amicia has some really useful and powerful skills and she's the fastest character in the game. Also, I accidentally gave her a lot of HP so she's kind of a fast tank

Billy Went To A Carnival Walkthrough All Endings

Awesome! Thank you so much for playing and the video! Also, it's amazing that you used Efesia and Clotilde for the final dungeon since nobody seems to like them hahaha

Took my time with this one,  glad to see you are branching into different types of games, I love me a good horror side scroller and even more when it has RPG battles.

The game plays SO nice it was hard to believe, the number one problem I encounter with indie RPG games with battles is that the devs have trouble balancing the fights so they can be both fun and challenging, given your previous Horror RPGmaker game background I was worried the fights were going to be annoying or unfair but let me tell you, you NAILED the balance, the variety of enemies, the debuffs, buffs and different attacks are all so much fun, great job on that.

The character design as usual was great and very well complemented with the skills and personalities, I liked all the friendly entities and even more the fact that you get to shape your party and the game to your liking with your answers, really makes for a custom player experience.

I did had to grind a bit before a certain boss but it was because I forgot about elemental attacks and also went out of my way to make the game as hard as possible...

Right before the end enemies start to get too tanky and the battles drag on a bit too much but are still fun since you get to use items and all your different attacks.

Finally, the story was something that was becoming secondary to me the more I played since the gameplay was so much fun and I was getting fascinated by all those monsters designs and names (Loved the Danse Macabreicle ) but those endings are definitely bangers.

Overall another solid project with a lot of replayability.

Keep up the good work!

Moriko! Thank you so much for the playthrough and your feedback!

This one actually was supposed to be more of a stealth-action game and the mechanics were the following: you hide until the clowns are not looking and then you hit them.
However, I felt the game was a bit empty and the gameplay was annoying and boring, so I decided to try making a tradtional RPG with classic RPG combat, which is something I've never done before (funny how I've made like 20 games with RPG Maker and none of them were actual RPGs). Then, I loved the idea of creating skills and characters that didn't fit the standards of classic rpg party members so I started creating a bizarre troupé of grotesque but lovely individuals.

Hugo was the first one I created and he actually looked kinda like Mr. Bob with a juggler outfit. But then I thought about giving HIM a ball for a head and I liked him better. Then came Lucy, who was supposed to be a family of balloons fighting together but I opted for the "lonely balloon girl" route.
Amicia was actually the third one I created and she became one of my favorites (and I think it shows as she's the one who gets most dialogue lines and her skills are pretty good, not to mention that she has a lot of different animations).
Mushi was supposed to get his own game but I discarded the project, so this was a good opportunity to use him, since I really like his concept and design and he's my favorite character.
I also had fun creating the enemies. Some are just random premade assets edited and put together, but they kinda work for the context and they're kinda funny (like the Danse Macabrehicule enemy, which is just a skull from a Enemy monster pack combined with a pixel art cart from a pack on Itch).

The final area was supposed to be a homage to the typical areas classic JRPGs,where you have to fight strong bosses in a row and there are strong common enemies that give tons of exp. Giving the final boss so much HP was definitely a mistake but I actually nerfed her and updated the game yesterday. However, having 4 party members definitely makes her easier, so by only having 3 people in your party, you kinda played hard mode hahaha. She's also weak to poison and it causes her tons of damage. So the experience varies for each player.

I had tons of fun making this game, I didn't even get the "final development fatigue phase" this time and I'll probably make either a sequel or another RPG with horror/grotesque elements.

Thanks again Moriko! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

well, i finished it and I love it<3 Classic A V Dossow game - lovely freaks, grotesque violence, fart jokes - what else do we need for happiness?:)))
also - to choose an ending? It's a very unique design, i don't think i ever seen sth like that...
also - SPOILERS - bad ending is amazing and hilarious... hehehe...hehehe...

(+1)

Thank you so much Abra! : D
Yeah, more like, I thought the way to get endings in Mausoleosis was a bit too complicated, so I wanted to make things easier this time. The bad ending was supposed to be the only ending but I thought it would be better to add a happier ending.
I'd say the "somewhat good ending" is the canon one, since it would allow me to make a potential sequel

how is it even possible to defeat Venetia?😭 She recovers 50000 hp, it's not fair...

(1 edit)

50000? That can't be right
I'm testing her right now and she should recover a max of10.000 HP
Also, I recommend being at least lv60

oh, my mistake - it's not hp, it's stamina

ahhh,you're at the final form
hahahahahah
yeah! it's a scripted skill

Also, what's your current party?

mushi, balloon girl and trapezist. I'm playing cheat mode, so we're all 99lv

(1 edit)

you should actually easily beat her at that level and with that team
The ultimate skills are:

Billy-perfect game
Lucy-Gabriel's wrath
Amicia-Grand Finale
Mushi-Kogarasamaru

Just spam those skills and you'll easily beat her
Also, she's vulnerable to poison and she takes massive damage from it (Mushi has poison element skills)

yes, i use all of that every time, still she kills all my crew:((

Also don't forget to heal hahaha

Pizza and milkshakes recover a lot of HP for the whole party

And Lucy is actually a dedicated healer, so she should be healing the party after each attack

from the 2nd try i defeated her easily, i guess i just was unlucky at first

Also, all characters learn an ultimate attack at lv 40 and those ultimate skills can deal massive damage to all enemies

(+1)

ATTENTION: the correct number for the jump puzzle should be 30. The character actually jumps 14 times, but I'm bad at maths. I'll remove the clown and update the game

what is the answer to this puzzle? It has to be 14, but the clown says it's wrong...

(+1)

It should be 30

(+1)

Damn it, I'm so bad at counting hahahha
I'll have to fix this asap

it's probably a typo

(+1)

hahahah yeah

"safe and sound"

Thanks for letting me know!
