Firstly, congrats on a new release! Secondly, this game was such a treat to play! I loved the implement of the selection option when choosing a path, and I liked being able to backtrack to areas, too!
Being able to choose the death animations in moments felt a bit easy to me (playing in regular mode), but I think it works for this kinda game. I liked the addition of other supernatural phenomena and the added backstory was a really cool touch!
The character art is hilarious, but I really like the different animations for the death(s)! This game felt like it def. had more of an "eerie" and haunted feel. I was on my toes expecting the creature to pop out at any moment, haha

I think it was the Maniac's Hideout, since he said he had been serial killing in the area for years. The house was haunted because of how many people he killed in there (the locked room).
Thanks! I wanted to leave it open to interpretation. It could just be a random haunted house in the woods...OR it could also be the previous home of Lucy's father (the ghost kinda looks like her father). It's also an excuse to get the weapon and the lamp

Great horror game with a unique style, that also has that classic low budget horror movie from the 80s charm. Fell off cliffs more than I care to admit. You should make a curvier character for the next game, you would be able to showcase the jiggle physics more, might make getting through doors a problem or having to put more thought into hiding spots, but once again, jiggle physics.

Fun game, it's always nice to find a horror game with an actually unique style. No knock on other stuff but Itch games have a bad tendency to get cookie-cuttery design wise.
The classic horror-adventure vibe and gameplay is always something that hook me in.
Props for the pig noises while getting chased, truly fit the hellish situations.
Bigfoot's scream is okay but a bit too Chewbacca-like if that make sense.

Big Foot could be an intimidating monster, but the current scream sound effect detracts from this intention. It's coming across as more annoying and loud than frightening.
Ideas:
1-Toning down the volume for a more unsettling effect
2-Experimenting with haunting frequencies or resonance
3-Adding variation to the scream
4-Focusing on creating unease or dread instead of just being loud

This is like my 20th game, so people who play my games already know what they might get into (not all of my games have characters like Lucy though) and I always include a content warning that lists everything they will find in the game.
My games are always (and will always be) free, so this isn't about money. I make games to get distracted from health issues or other real life problems, and I also want to entertain people and make them laugh/get scared (usually, both).
I've been called a lot of things because of my games, so I'm used to it. Some of the things people say actually make me laugh in a good way. I do reckon most of the fanservice in my games isn't necessary, but somehow, it gives them some kind of distinct brand, and people who are used to my games like it or don't mind it (as well as the jiggly physics).
I do know Manly, I love his videos, so I'm honored that he has played some of my games! And he's totally right: I always aim to give my games a 80's horror film schlock vibe with over the top situations all around, and that vibe definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea
I'm afraid she can't be saved, mostly because creating a new set of sprites/portraits for her would have been too much work and I just wanted to get done with the game. I did consider making her some kind of supporting character that would eventually escape with Lucy in the end, although that would have drastically changed the plot. Also, her head is an edit of Lucy's head, so technically, Lucy is looking at her own head
I just finished the game "Billy went to a carnival" and when I opened the app, this game popped up. OMGGGG!! I am excited to play this too :>. Btw I love all of your games and i hope you make more in the future <3
the idea is good, i feel like it would be better in 3d as an outlast type of thing (but i feel like that's too much work for one person) or maybe like a puppet combo type of game. The partially sexual stuff is 100% unnecessary but meh do you i guess, I only got one ending (number 7) the sprites for everything(but lucy's) look awesome but lucy does look a bit deformed(no offence) but after that games good keep up the good work

A solid RPGmaker game with a nice story, definitely advanced jiggle physics and some genius game design ideas; Great job with the MC girl as usual, the game looks beautiful, the soundtrack gotta be one of my favorites and those forest ranger parts are definitely the cherry on top.
It is for sure not the longest or robust game in your library but it compensates for it with quality and innovation, I can see a lot of new things implemented, like the forest ranger segments (My absolute favorite part, great job!) the crossroad selection and the dead cutscenes.
I can also see more freedom in the variety of endings as well as how to unlock them, it was very fun trying different things and seeing the results.
Even if it's quite different from your other games it is equally enjoyable, keep up the good work!

I tend to say "this is my best game ever" whenever I release a new game hahaha, mostly because each new game reflects what I've learned/improved as a dev, so it might not be my best game yet. But that's a good thing, since devs need to keep getting better and challenge themselves. I knew the game was going to be short compared to some of my other games, specially since I discarded the initial project for the jam and started from 0, but I wanted to compensate with a lot of attention to detail and many animations.
The Pauline segments were some kind of "last development week addition", and I think I actually enjoy them more than the base game.
It's funny how you got Ending 4 (Aliens) just by random chance hahahah, that was really awesome!
I actually considered the idea of Lucy finding a letter by her father (next to his skeleton) where he confessed everything, but the problem was that you can get that ending way before getting the ending where you uncover the truth, so it kind of ruined the plot twist.
