HUGE UPDATE: no more AI; new art by NewmoniaCute
Storytime:
I made this game last year for a jam. Originally, I was going to use these images I made in paint:
However, I felt they looked awful, so, ignorant of the stigma of AI, I used AI to enhance both images. At first I didn't really care, but recently, I felt ashamed for using AI, specially after having worked with real amazing artists.
Now, I'm proud to announce that the amazing NewmoniaCute has provided amazing new art to replace those awful AI images, but not only that: now even Gepetto has a menu image.
In summary: all traces of AI have been removed and instead now there's art by the amazing NewmoniaCute, who recently worked with me in A House 4 Alesa.
So special thanks to NewmoniaCute, who made this new Pinocchiogoria possible.
Also, this was a great opportunity to improve some aspects of the game and now it should be a more fun experience.

Ah wonderful news! I'm glad you found such a skillful artist, their work compliments yours :)
Thank you Haiphong! : D
Enhancement isnt a big deal. People enhance photos all the time, clean up images in editing software with single click functions, all that. So not a big deal. But if you feel better doing this, that's more important than anything else.
In the end, it wasn't really an enhancement though. The final images looked nothing like my awful MS Paint art, so I cheated. I was running out of time, since it was for a jam, but still, using AI has haunted me ever since, and I like this game, so I'm happy that now people can play it without having to worry about the use of AI art
The non-AI versions were peak... you should've used them in the first place! /hj
I like to think that I have slightly improved my art ever since I made those ones. Perhaps I should have used them from the beginning. But I'm happy with the new art
