MAN playing this as someone who also worked with Pixel Game Maker MV was a delight, the game is so fun of course, it felt like playing an NES game I never seen before, the structure is nice, every level is different enough and it has A VEHICLE LEVEL!

Bosses are hard but not impossible and they look GOOD, it is so nice to have this little spinoff games once in a while, and of course the fart jokes too!

I would love to know what you think about the engine after making this game.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback Moriko! I reckon this is might be a bit hard and frustrating game (it was even harder at first) but since it's a throwback to the old classics, it shouldn't be TOOO easy. It has to have some challenge. It definitely is more forgiving than the first version of Automagoria though

Pixel Game Maker MV is a really interesting engine, and I've actually made many games with it (even a visual novel, which is no longer avaiable but you still have the video in your channel), but it definitely has a lot of issues that make it a bit frustrating.

For starters, all modern engines should support html/mac/linux exports, since not everyone can play the windows version, so the fact that you can only export to windows is definitely a bit let down. Yeah, you can apply to get your game on the Switch, but still...

The learning curve for this one, specially compared to Rpg Maker, is pretty tough, and visual scripting can be a complete nightmare. There are some really good tutorials, but still, I feel like you only get good or decent at this software after releasing many games. And even then, there's always something that might be broken. Even after tweaking Alesa's movements and physics during days, she still feels really clunky to play (Greta is a bit better I guess). I even tried to follow some of the settings of the sample games, but it still felt a bit too clunky.

Now, I'm not saying it's a bad engine. I've actually had fun with it and it has allowed me to make real action platformers (something that I could never make in Rpg Maker), so that's really nice.

I heard they're making a new version/spiritual succesor next year, so I'm really hyped for that one (and I seriously expect it to have browser/android/mac support). If that one fixes all the problems with this one, I might even consider leaving Rpg Maker and using that new engine forever hahahaha

Ahh this was so fun!!! I didn't get very far, but i DID have fun haha. I'm sooo bad at these kinds of platform games (not a true gamer T_T) but I'm really hoping Hawk or someone else plays it so I can see what happens lol. The art was stellar and I really liked the animation flow of the weapon. I played the scythe character.

I thought the levels I did see were really nicely thought out. I liked the falling section, kinda reminded me of That Part of Portal 2 lol. But a really well done job of showing the player a type of thing (floors that fall away after you touch them) and then making it a part of the next puzzle is chefs kiss game design.

And as always I love ur parallax designs!! The way things in the distance feel off in the distance, aren't visually too busy or too confusing and are just pretty to look at is always really cool to see in ur work.

Please make browser port :)

Trust me, I'd love to provide a version for browsers, phones and MAC/Linux, but unfortunately the engine only supports windows. That's why I usually make everything with Rpg Maker Mz, because it supports more systems

wow Av how can you leave me out I love Alesa's games I love your games no wonder I beat them all but because you released a game just for the PC because that's not fair ☹️ wow Av you left me out a new game Alesa but I won't be able to play ☹️💔 you lost points with me Av I'm very hurt I know that my words are worthless to you, you and the creator, it's not really sorry but I'll only come back or when you release an RPG maker version like your standard games or when launch Julia is alone at home chapter 4 I'm very disappointed in you ☹️💔

The Pixel Game Maker MV engine doesn't allow for browser/mac exports, and this type of game couldn't have been made in Rpg Maker. It's not my choice. I would have gladly released a browser and MAC version but the engine doesn't allow it.

OMG this is golden, going to play this when I get the chance!

Thank you! : D

A Gamer for Alesa

Honestly at this point a horror game of a woman with big boobs and ass might be coming around the corner.

I don't know, but it feels like it might involve a little brother or something...

This is just a fun (is it?) little Alesa spin-off, so don't take it too seriously. It's nothing like the other Alesa games
