Good game! love the arts, storyline & nice jumpscares but unfortunately the game sound is not recorded, I don't know why.

Btw I just saw that there is an endings guide that can be downloaded. Unfortunately you added that after I finished the game but that's okay because it's more fun for me to find the ending myself. haha

Looking forward to your next project... :)

Thank you so much for playing! Even if the sound wasn't recorded, it's still a great video! : D

ok i finally finished it, got all endings. I must say i was deeply offended by the absence of toilet jokes, pixel nudity and jiggling cakes😡. The author of this game is probably a sick person who has some fetish for fully dressed women, it's disgusting.

jokes aside, it's a really good game, mausoleum is indeed super beautiful, and jumpscares made me regret the fact i didnt wear my brown pants:>

hahahhaha thank you Abra

btw i still don't understand what was that "ghost"? who looked like Iris.

It's just some sort of reference to the film House on Haunted Hill (1999), where something similar happened (although to be fair, it's more of a common trope in horror films: one of the protagonists appears out of nowhere, with hidden eyes, and turns out they are a fake version or something like that)

Not gonna lie, this game got me a few times, and it got me good, it is nice to see a pure horror experience for a change; I have to mention the amazing art and how it elevates the game quality, I never had a problem with the look of your previous games at all, I am just saying this artist is talented! The main illustration here on itchio, the portraits and the monster feel on a whole new level in this game. I didn't know if I should be scared or amazed at them.

The story was also enjoyable, it took me a while (after the second Playtrough started) to piece it together but the radically different MC added a lot of fun, I do have to mention it feels more like a prologue to something than a standalone story, even with those amazing endings. Of course it is a Gamejam game so there is only so much that can be covered and I do appreciate the condensed enjoyable little story. I was a little hesitant to play more than one run but that's just because I am short on time lately and not really related to the game or it's quality.

The puzzles this time are enjoyable and not too hard although I feel they are a little disjointed from the story, I liked the references to dead authors but I am still confused about the moving roman number thingies, that was fun to play mechanically but I could not understand the on-story purpose.

Overall I think is a good turn of leaf and would not mind seeing more games like this at all, be it a sequel or a different story.

Keep up the good work!

I just finished watching the entire video!

As always, another amazing video by Hikiyami Moriko! I have to say: I really enjoyed when you got surprised by David's mother and the zombie hahahaha

I was really worried of going back to pure horror games, because my latest games have been so different. Like, maybe I can't make pure horror anymore and I'm doomed to make random bizarre games forever. But it seems I still can make some spoopy stuff!

And Kazu's art is absolutely amazing, their illustrations take the game to a whole other level and I'm really happy to have worked with such an amazing artist! Kazu also helped with the story and the characters, specially with Iris (Iris was a pretty blank character but Kazu gave her a backstory and suggested adding inner thoughs and more dialogs, which was a great addition to the plot)

I really appreciate you took the time to play a second time to get the other endings, thank you so much! My games tend to have instant endings through a choice at the end, but this time I wanted to make something different. I'm really glad you liked the variations regarding the choices you make. Like, for example, the flashback with the model. If you're nice to Iris, that flashback seems pointless, but if you're cruel, and you already know what David does, it makes a lot of more sense.

I reckon some puzzles were pretty random and had nothing to do with the plot hahaha, like that final moving puzzle. I was losing my inspiration for puzzles and there were few days left for the deadline.

I don't think I'll continue this story, but I do want to keep making more games similar to this one: pure horror, hidden details, variations regarding choices, stories that need to be pierced through different playthroughs, etc.

By the way, that really cheap scare near the end, the guy that appears at random, he's supposed to be David's father, the leader of the cult. He only appears if you read the entry mentioning him, that's why he didn't appear in your second playthrough.

Thanks again Moriko, I really enjoyed watching the playthrough and your feedback is very valuable as always!

And sorry about the rats hahahhaa (there are like 100 rats in the game)

(1 edit)

I can't save at the beginning of the game...

EDIT: Also got this error when I tried to alter the settings. Both of these happened on the web build.

I was able to save here, beside flowers

also i changed settings, it went ok in browser build. maybe try another browser

I've tested the web build both in my pc and my phone, and it's working fine. It's probably related to your browser/computer/configuration
